The city that never fails – part II

The Zelmerlöw London adventure continues. This time Måns shares his top ten tips for a weekend in the city that never fails.

Hi there! This time I’d thought I’d share some of my favourite  places in London with you. Perhaps these are on your favourite list too? Well, this is what I enjoy the most when visiting London anyway:

Little Italy
An
Italian restaurant that becomes more of a club the longer the evening progresses. Always good music, pleasant personnel and happy patrons. Don’t be surprised if the Macarena is played at the closing. However much you dislike that tune, you are swept along.

The Comedy Store
Always fun. Always good comedians and hosts. On Mondays they have the Open Mic, where the amateurs can try. It can become anything!

ATP World Tour Finals
At the O2 arena in November. The biggest names settle on who is to end up on the top ten ranking.

Football
With five London teams in the Premier League, you can in principle watch football anytime. Chelsea’s home matches are something quite special.

Biking
Hire Boris Bikes and bike from the Cutty Sark, along the river, all the way to Waterloo. You can see almost all the London sights on the way. Especially nice in the sunset.

Portobello Road Market
A must. The Mecca for vintage chasers!

Galvin at Windows
Fantastic restaurant and panorama on the 28th floor. The view over London is unparalleled!

West End
Of course! Most musicals can be recommended but if I must choose a few:
Wicked
Phantom of the Opera (starring Peter Jöback)
Rock of Ages
Jersey Boys
Billy Elliott

The Eden Project
The rain forest and the Mediterranean heat are only a stone’s throw away.

The Box
Nightclub. Be prepared for anything in the way of entertainment. Requires ‘an open mind’.

Bye for now!

-Måns-
